Adam Ginsberg's Secrets of Auction Millionaire -Getting Started

Hi Everyone,

Wanted to let you know about my experiences so far with Adam's product. So far so good really- what's happening is that I've started going through the audios/videos in his training site, and received all my usernames and passwords for all 3 systems.

It basically consists of 3 systems:

-His Training Site- With Members Only Audio/Videos and Text
-Doba.com - The Online Warehouse with 1.2 Mill Products
-TemplateOptimizer- Allows you to "Pull" a Product from the Doba Online Warehouse, and Put a Template Around It, then Generate html to paste into eBay

Here's what I've found so far- Pulling a listing from Doba and pushing it to eBay is very easy. If you use Template Optimizer, you can put a nice template around the whole listing, but when you get to eBay you still need to fill in a few things. This may be a bit time consuming.

I'm contemplating whether to use the Template Optimizer Component all the time, probably not on every listing. One advantage of using Template Optimizer though is that it allows you to post as many pics as you want without paying eBay fees for more pics, that's a nice advantage, but since I'm only pulling from Doba (entries only have one image) then that's not too important to me.

Ok if you have this package I HIGHLY recommend that you couple it with the eBay market research at http://terapeak.com This is a free tool for basic searches- so find your item in doba - eg: Graco Baby Stroller (with model number) and enter it into Terapeak where it says price report at the top.

This will give you AMAZING information - including % of items sold historically (eg: I'm only putting on products that sold over 90% of the time!), even time and day to list, how long to list for, and whether to list as Buy it Now or Auction AND! the average PRICE it sold for historically - just gold really!!. Just follow that I can't see how you'll lose. Compare it to your Doba price, shipping and ebay fees, and see if the item is profitable!

Also, I'm going to outsource this whole thing once I get it figured out, so I don't create another "Job" for me. I'll keep you up to date!

That's very helpful information regarding the Ebay Course. I haven't tried anything yet so I can't wait to get started .... Yes, I also intend to outsource all the work too for this. Your tips are very useful indeed.

Here's a thought: Basic numbers

$.35 to put a listing up Ebay Listing Fee (Perhaps free if you start at .99c but you'll need to determine if this is "smart" based on top selling starting price from the Terapeak.com research tool.
.75c Outsourcers Time to research, find good item, and put it up (25 mins or so)
8% to 12% - eBay Fee if it Sells
Don't forget to put US Domestic shipping in listing - thankfully Doba seems to do this automatically when it pushes the listing to eBay

Remember those numbers as you go so you know how much you need to sale for to have profits!
